Business Development Manager (Hard Services, M&E)

North West or London

Circa £45,000 - £65,000 plus car, benefits and commission

Business Development Manager is required to join a leading Facilities Service provider to generate new business for their facilities management division which provides mechanical and electrical maintenance services to clients in commercial, education, healthcare, retail, MOD, social housing and government services sectors.

Ideally based in the North West or London, our client is searching for a talented and experienced Business Development Manager who is time served selling Hard FM Services and has a proven track record to join their growing business.

They are looking for someone who is a self-starter and is resilient and able to manage the sales process and close deals. You will work with part of a Business Development team who will help with estimating, bid writing etc. However, you will be required to find, develop and solution build on opportunities.

You will be confident and well networked within Facilities Management and will be looking to carve a career with a company who values their team and puts the customer first.

It would be advantageous to have come from an engineering background with a qualification in either mechanical or electrical engineering, although that is not essential.

You will have the following skills and experience:

* Generating new leads

* Client meetings to discuss requirements and interoperate client's needs

* Sending quotes and estimates

* Work as part of a team to pull together a winning bid/tender

* Excellent presentation skills

* Great networker

* Ability to close a sale

* Able to keep accurate pipeline records and track clients

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced BDM to join a successful team to be based from either North West or London to operate throughout your region.
