Our client is a highly personable building solutions organisation who take a huge amount of pride in delivering the highest quality of workmanship. Able to provide clients with a complete 360 degree solution, they are able to deliver both Facilities Management and Construction services to clients in various sectors such has commercial, hospitality, retail and historic buildings. Having traded for over two decades, they have built a loyal client base in the North of England that regularly provide them with repeat work.

As part of their plan to continue the growth of their Facilities Management business, they are now seeking an entrepreneurial senior operations manager who will be based from their offices in Leeds. The role is a General Management position with responsibility for driving both growth and operational excellence, reporting into the Managing Director.

Typical duties will include;

  • Providing leadership to the operational and helpdesk teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and processes to deliver an outstanding service to clients.
  • Help develop the companies bid and estimation processes to ensure they are correctly pricing their contracts.
  • Help raise the profile of the Facilities Management business locally.
  • Explore avenues to deliver different service streams with clients (currently delivering mechanical, electrical, fabric and compliance services but are regularly asked to deliver additional services)

  • Candidates should have extensive experience in the Facilities Management industry, preferably from a mechanical or electrical technical background with experience managing mobile/multi-site Facilities Management contracts. You will need to be entrepreneurial, with strong leadership, commercial and organisational skills.

    The role comes with a salary up to £65,000, car allowance, pension and various other benefits.
