East Midlands

Head of Sales Operations/Sales Support Manager is required to join a progressive facilities service provider to ensure the efficient delivery and follow up to leads and activity within the business across the various business streams.

You will be tenacious, have awesome communication skills, love getting to know people and a ninja multi tasker, as you will be the conductor of sales activity within the business, providing seamless integration between the different teams such as marketing, bids, content, sales and operations.

Working across all the business units, you will be responsible for ensuring that all sales opportunities are maximised, followed up and collaboration takes place when needed like the conductor of an orchestra!

You'll be a social soul who loves work as an inter-connector, bringing together the different specialists skills from within the teams, getting to know your team players well, so you know who is the right person to engage on any particular task to get it moving in the right direction, whilst also making sure no one gets left out just because they may not be the loudest person within the business. They appreciate difference within this business.

This role will suit someone who has managed sales teams before and also has great analytical skills. They'll love diving into the data to see what activities are having a successful return on investment from both a time and money perspective.

You'll need to a dab hand at writing reports, as you will be writing reports for the board based on the sales and marketing activity and you'll also have responsibility for the company sales CRM system to ensure that all data is going in and is kept up to date, to enable cross pollination between the various business units.

You'll work closely with the marketing, bid teams and content writers to ensure that the teams are supported with marketing activity and there is sufficient material for them, to support them through the sales process.

A confident demeanor and presence will be essential, as you are going to be chasing the Sales Directors down for progress reports and will be confident at working at all levels of the business with the various stakeholders.

All in all, you will be the guardian of the sales process, making sure the company is performing to its best by pulling the expertise from around the business in at various points to get the sale over the line and then smoothly transitioned into operations.

It's a really important role within this business, because you will be the glue which sticks this all together!
