Hexagon was originally formed by Nikki Lathbury. Having left the recruitment industry after twelve years following frustrations with ethics. She went to work in Facilities Management. Having been a recruiter for so long and having worked over several sectors through the years, she became frustrated by the poor service levels given by recruiters. This coupled with a nudge from her Mentor, Liz Kentish, saw Nikki return to recruitment, offering her peers a service they could trust and rely on, build on the solid values of trust, honesty, knowledge, personality and passion.
Nikki is a dedicated lover of facilities management and it is this passion to the industry which has been the key to her success. An enthusiastic member of the committee for the British Institute of Facilities Managements, Midlands Regional Committee, Nikki holds the role of Events Co-ordinator, organising events for FM professionals covering key learning CPD Events, networking, updates on legislation, industry best practice and social events. Bringing FM professionals at any level of their career to help them share best practice, keep up to date with the industry and advance their careers in their chosen profession. Nikki also sits on the committee for the successful Women in FM special interest group, which provides an encouraging and supportive environment for women to learn, collaborate, motivate and advance their careers with the FM sector. A group which welcomes both men and women and helps create an understanding of the challenges women face within the industry and how to support them and create a fair and level playing field within the industry.
Nikki is an avid networker and loves connecting people together to share information and best practice or to do business together.
