Hexagon Group are delighted to be working with a prominent managing agent that have a well-respected name within shopping centre management. Our client is recruiting for a Senior Operations Manager to assist with the management of a modern shopping centre based in North London, that attracts a high number of footfall each year and is home to numerous high street retailers.

As the Senior Operations Manager, you will form part of the senior management team and alongside the Centre Director, you will be at the forefront of shaping the success for the centre. You will be managing the day-to-day operations of the centre, overseeing numerous on-site contractors and play a pivotal role in enhancing relationships with your occupiers and implementing strategies to drive footfall and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with the centre's occupiers, ensuring their needs are being met.
  • Overseeing the M&E, security, cleaning, and guest services in order to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Deputising for the Centre Director in their absence.
  • Implement marketing strategies to enhance the shopping centres visibility, attracting a diverse customer base, and promoting any events that may be taking place.
  • Management of the centre health & safety protocols, and ensuring any issues are dealt with promptly.

Ideally, you will hold previous experience in shopping centre management; this could be either managing a retail park, or a centre of this ilk. However, our client has stated that they are open on candidate's experience, although you must come from a background within facilities management. In addition, you will have strong people management skills, have a positive personality, and be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of health & safety, which will all be backed up with an industry recognised qualification such as an IOSH / NEBOSH / IWFM certificates.
